WILLIAM OCKHAM
William the Ockham was a franciscan friar and philosopher. Was born in 1280/1288 and was died in 1349. He dead from black plague.
Ockham developeds a complicated philosophical thought, this brought him into conflict with catholicism in occasions.
Also developing thinks in politics and religion.
Occams Razor
The Occams Razor is a theroy created by William Ockham, the theroy explains this: "es entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem" (In the same conditions, the simplest solution is probably the correct), this theory is aplicated to: economy, theology, linguistics, informatics and in any problem of the normal life.
For these things, William of Ockham is considered one of the most important characters of the Middle Ages.
